Wood Island Lighthouse's 200th Birthday Party!
1808 - 2008: Celebrating 200 Years of Lighting Saco Bay.
Sunday August 17th,
3 p.m. - 6 p.m.
Celebrate Wood Island Lighthouse's 200 Birthday with the Friends of Wood Island Lighthouse. Spend a picturesque late afternoon enjoying a live irish band, outdoors, right next to the waters of Biddeford Pool. Enjoy food and refreshments available from Hattie's restaurant. End the evening with birthday cake and watching the sun begin to fall behind the anchored boats in Biddeford Pool.
The celebration will take place at Hattie's restaurant, located at 109 Mile Stretch Road, Biddeford Pool, Maine.
All ages are welcome to attend. The music and cake are free. Chowder, sandwiches, and additional refreshments will be available for purchase from Hattie's. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved indoors to the Biddeford Pool Community Club, located just down the street from Hattie's.
